Central to Ryusoulger’s world is the “Ryusoul” — a ring-shaped transformation item fitted with a cap and slotted into a belt to activate different power-up states. Collecting and swapping these soul pieces was central to both the narrative and the merchandise, and Bandai, Toei’s exclusive toy manufacturing partner for Super Sentai, built a wide range of products around that system. For international audiences, Ryusoulger is the direct source material for Power Rangers Dino Fury, which launched in 2021 and brought the series’ dinosaur-knight aesthetic to Western viewers.

What “Magazine Limited” Means in Japan
