Scarabia Dorm POCOPOCO Phone Grip from Disney Twisted Wonderland

Scarabia Twisted Wonderland POCOPOCO Phone Grip Holder Disney Japan

A Phone Grip Designed for Fans and Daily Use

This is a POCOPOCO-brand phone grip from Disney Twisted Wonderland, featuring the emblem of Scarabia dorm. POCOPOCO is a practical format: the ring-style attachment spins freely, holds your phone securely in hand, and folds flat when you don’t need it. All three functions make it genuinely usable rather than shelf-only, which is part of why the format has become a fixture in Japan’s character merchandise market.

Twisted Wonderland is a rhythm-and-adventure mobile game developed jointly by Aniplex and Walt Disney Japan, which launched in Japan on March 18, 2020. An English-language global version followed in 2022, bringing the game to players in North America, Europe, and across Asia. The premise is a magic school called Night Raven College, where every dormitory draws its identity from a classic Disney Villain. Players take the role of an outsider — the one student who doesn’t fit the school’s logic — and navigate the rivalries and dramas that unfold between the dorms. Every character in the game was designed by Yana Toboso, the manga artist behind Black Butler, whose theatrical, elegant style gives Twisted Wonderland its immediately recognizable visual identity.

Scarabia, Jafar, and the Cobra at the Center

Scarabia is one of the six dorms at Night Raven College, and its patron villain is Jafar from Disney’s Aladdin (1992). The dorm’s entire aesthetic — desert palace architecture, layered gold ornamentation, serpent motifs — flows from that source. The cobra on this grip’s emblem specifically references two images from the film: the snake head at the tip of Jafar’s sorcerer staff, and the colossal cobra he transforms into at the story’s climax. Gold accents and a palace silhouette frame the design, giving the piece the opulent, theatrical quality that defines Scarabia throughout the game.

The two main Scarabia characters each represent a different side of the Jafar archetype. Kalim Al-Asim, the dorm leader, is an exuberantly cheerful heir to an enormous fortune — closer in spirit to Aladdin’s generous, open-hearted protagonist than to any villain. His vice-dorm leader, Jamil Viper, carries the calculating, quietly dangerous presence associated with Jafar himself. Even Jamil’s surname is deliberate: Viper echoes the cobra imagery that runs through Scarabia’s entire visual language.

Japanese Merchandise That Doesn’t Travel Through Standard Retail

Twisted Wonderland was conceived as a Japan-first product, and its licensed merchandise follows the same pattern. Goods like this phone grip have been sold through Japanese specialty retailers — Animate, Loft, Village Vanguard — as well as through Disney Stores and game-linked events in Japan. That distribution path means most of this merchandise does not reach international shelves through conventional retail channels.

Since the global version launched in 2022, fan communities outside Japan — active on Reddit, X, and Discord — have built consistent demand for Japanese-market Twisted Wonderland goods. Scarabia dorm in particular draws two overlapping audiences: players who follow Kalim and Jamil as characters, and Disney fans who recognize the Aladdin and Jafar source material on sight. The dorm’s visual identity is legible even without familiarity with the game, which broadens its appeal beyond the core player base.
