Where the main film series depicted kaiju as enormous and threatening, Godzilland reimagined them using SD — Super Deformed — design: compact, round-bodied characters with exaggerated proportions and expressive faces. No. 110 is one product of that line. It is a vinyl-type sticker printed on a lime-green background, featuring multiple kaiju rendered in the bright flat colors and bold outlines that defined Japanese character goods throughout the 1980s.

The “No. 110” designation places this piece within a numbered series — large enough to have run to at least 110 entries. Numbered sticker series like this were a fixture of Japanese childhood in the era, sold individually or in small packets through stationery shops, toy stores, and dagashiya: the small candy-and-novelty shops that were a daily stop for children across Japan. 1984: The Year Godzilla Came Back

The Four Monsters on the Sticker

Rodan, a pterosaur-type monster with a brown, birdlike silhouette, first headlined his own Toho film in 1956 and became a recurring ensemble player after the 1964 crossover entry “Ghidorah, the Three-Headed Monster,” where he shared the screen with Godzilla and Mothra for the first time.

Mothra’s larvae — depicted here as three worm-like figures with yellow spines — typically appear as one or two individuals in the films. The three-larva arrangement here is likely a creative adaptation specific to the SD format.
