The Lucario VSTAR Premium Collection Token is an official Pokémon Trading Card Game accessory — a VSTAR marker, the coin-shaped flip token players use to track when they have activated their VSTAR Power during a match. Under TCG rules, a VSTAR Power can only be used once per game; flipping this marker signals that the ability has been spent. That is its practical function. What sets this version apart is the construction: the body is metal, the surface carries a rainbow mirror holographic finish that shifts color with viewing angle, and Lucario’s form is pressed into the metal in relief — embossed rather than flat-printed.

The marker came packaged inside the Lucario VSTAR Premium Collection box, a product released by The Pokémon Company International (TPCi) and believed to be aimed primarily at North American and European markets. The VSTAR mechanic itself debuted in Japan in December 2021 and arrived in English-speaking markets in February 2022 with the Brilliant Stars expansion; the Premium Collection box is estimated to date from the same general period.
