NEV-003 is a character assembly kit from Kawada’s nanoblock line — a brand of ultra-small interlocking blocks launched in 2008 by Kawada Co., Ltd., a toy company based in Nagoya, Japan. The “NEV” product code stands for Nanoblock × Evangelion, marking this as part of a dedicated sub-line within Kawada’s anime licensing catalog. NEV-003 is the third entry in that series.

Unlike a pre-built figure, this is a construction kit: over 150 micro-scale interlocking pieces assembled by the builder into a standing character figure. The smallest components measure roughly 4mm × 4mm × 5mm — approximately one-eighth the size of a standard LEGO brick — which concentrates a surprising amount of detail into a compact form. The kit is packaged in a transparent cylindrical plastic case.

The NEV line is licensed from Rebuild of Evangelion, the four-film theatrical reboot produced by studio Khara, which ran from 2007 to 2021.
