OP09-114 Lindbergh — One Piece Card Game Yellow Character Card
Who Is Lindbergh?
Lindbergh is a senior commander within the Revolutionary Army — the organization led by Dragon, father of series protagonist Monkey D. Luffy — holding the rank of Commander of the Southern Army. He belongs to the Mink Tribe, a race distinguished by animal features such as ears, tails, and fur, and his appearance specifically leans feline. His signature weapon is a large freeze-mechanism firearm called the Cool Shooter, the same weapon depicted in this card’s artwork.
Lindbergh is not a front-line main character in the conventional sense, but core fans of the series know him as one of the Revolutionary Army’s genuine elite. His most substantial action comes during and after the operation to occupy Mariejois — the seat of the World Government — an arc that finally brought the Revolutionary Army out of the background and into direct conflict with the world’s ruling powers.
The Card: Yellow Attribute, Cost 3, Built Around Endgame Conditions
Card number OP09-114 places this card in the ninth booster set of the One Piece Card Game, a trading card game published by Bandai that launched in Japan in July 2022. The OP09 set is estimated to have released in the latter half of 2024, in line with the roughly quarterly cadence the game has maintained since launch. The card is printed in Japan and carries the Japanese-language text.
Its stats are Cost 3, Power 4000, and a counter value of +1000. Both of its effects share the same activation condition: the combined life total of both players falling to five cards or fewer. When played (On Play), the card can knock out an opposing character with 2000 power or less. Its Trigger effect allows the card to enter play without paying its cost when that same life threshold is reached. This design is in keeping with how Yellow functions as a color in the OPTCG — the attribute is built around life-count awareness and Trigger-based plays, oriented toward late-game control rather than early aggression.
The rarity is Common (C), the grade designed for high-volume distribution within booster packs, making it accessible both as a competitive piece in Yellow decks and as a straightforward collect-the-set addition.
ONE PIECE, the Revolutionary Army, and Collector Interest Worldwide
ONE PIECE is the manga by Eiichiro Oda, running in Weekly Shonen Jump since 1997 and adapted as an anime from 1999 onward. By 2024 the series had surpassed 500 million copies worldwide. International engagement with the franchise has grown substantially in recent years through streaming platforms and theatrical releases including ONE PIECE FILM RED in 2022.
The Revolutionary Army has long held a distinctive place in the series’ lore — a powerful and secretive force whose members were kept largely off-panel for years. That slow, deliberate reveal has built sustained reader curiosity about each named member, Lindbergh among them. The Mink Tribe adds another layer of appeal: each character in the group has a visually specific animal profile, which makes them recognizable across a broad range of merchandise and card art.
Japanese-language cards are printed separately from their English-language counterparts, and many collectors outside Japan actively seek the Japanese versions as the original edition. The OPTCG has attracted a global audience since 2022, and characters from the Revolutionary Army — long in the background of the story — represent a corner of the ONE PIECE world that rewards fans who have followed the series closely.
