Two Shandia Warriors and the Story They Share

Calgara belongs to a different era entirely — he was the chief of ancient Shandora some 400 years before the main story, depicted through extended flashback sequences. A hero of his time, Calgara is remembered in the arc partly for his friendship with the explorer Montblanc Noland. Wiper is Calgara’s direct descendant, and the emotional core of the Sky Island arc is built on that lineage: the grief and determination that passed down through generations.
